PARKING PERMITS FOR DOWNTOWN BUSINESSES AND RESIDENTS

What are they and who are they for?

Downtown Business Parking Permits: Intended for owners of businesses in the downtown district to obtain parking permits for their employees. The permits will allow employees to park in any municipal parking lot (except the Main St Lot) while working.  The permits are not valid for any on-street parking.  Business owners can create an account and then manage 'fleet permits' for their employee's vehicles.  Account managers can add/remove/edit the vehicles on their account. This permit must be setup by the business owner and cannot be purchased directly by the employee.

Downtown Resident Parking Permits: Intended for owners or landlords of downtown residential apartments to obtain parking permits for their tenants.  The permits will allow tenants to park in any municipal parking lot (except the Main St Lot) or in any on-street paid parking zone (except on Main St, Baldwin St, Harrison St, Hudson St, or Park Place).  Landlords can create an account and then can manage 'fleet permits' for their tenant's vehicles.  Account managers can add/remove/edit the vehicles on their account.  This permit must be setup by the landlord and cannot be purchased directly by the tenant.

How much?

Accounts will be charged a flat rate of $40/month per permit. Each Business Permit can have up to 5 employee vehicles.  Each Resident Permit can have up to 5 tenant vehicles.

How do I get one?

Please complete the fields below. This information will be used by us to create an online Citizens Connect account for you.  Once the account is created, you will be able to log in and manage vehicles (referred to as 'Fleet') and permits by going to www.villageofjc.com/parking and logging into your account. Any questions, contact Lt. Mike Mason at mmason@jcpolice.com or (607)729-9322 Ext. 2227.
