PARKING PERMITS FOR DOWNTOWN BUSINESSES AND RESIDENTS

Parking Permit Options

Downtown Business Parking Permits: 

Downtown Business Parking Permits are available for business owners within the downtown district to provide parking for their employees.

  • Where Permits Apply: Valid in the Municipal Lot between Avenues C&D or the Isabelle Lot.
  • Not Valid: Willow Lot, Main Street Lot, or in any on-street paid parking zone.
  • Account Management: Business owners create an account and manage “fleet permits” for their employees’ vehicles. Owners (or designated account managers) can add, remove, or update vehicle information as needed. 
  • Important: Permits must be set up by the business owner. Employees cannot purchase permits directly.


Downtown Resident Parking Permits: 

 Downtown Resident Parking Permits are available for owners or landlords of residential apartments in the downtown district to provide parking for their tenants.

  • Where Permits Apply: Valid in all municipal parking lots except the Main Street Lot, and in all on-street paid parking zones except on Main Street, Baldwin Street, Harrison Street, Hudson Street, and Park Place. 
  • Account Management: Landlords create an account and manage “fleet permits” for their tenants’ vehicles. Account managers can add, remove, or update vehicle information as needed. 
  • Important: Permits must be set up by the landlord. Tenants cannot purchase permits directly.


Cost

  • Monthly Rate: $40 per month, per permit (charged to the account). 
  • Business Permits: Each permit covers up to 5 employee vehicles. 
  • Resident Permits: Each permit covers up to 5 tenant vehicles.


Discounted Rate: This special permit structure offers significant savings compared to the standard public parking rate of $40 per month per vehicle. With a Business or Resident Permit, you can cover up to 5 vehicles under a single $40 monthly fee. 


Account Setup

Please complete and submit the form below. This information will be used to create your online Fleet account. Once your account is active, you can log in at www.villageofjc.com/parking to manage your vehicles (referred to as your “Fleet”) and permits.
